If you are looking to learn or improve your English we at Papillon are here to help you!

We are able to offer School Level Courses for beginners, improvers or advanced learners in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Our courses include the following:

Little ones

For youngsters from two to five years old (accompanied by a parent).

In small groups children will learn the first sounds of English whilst having fun playing and singing. The basics of the language will be learnt through nursery rhymes and songs.

Number games will also be used to familiarise children to the first sounds of the language in the same way as if it were their mother tongue.

Conversation with a cup of English tea

For adults, we offer a tea time conversation group. Come and drink tea with us whilst learning or practising your English in a relaxed and informal way. All levels of English will be catered for. If there are several levels of proficiency in a group we will do our best to separate you in order to better serve your individual needs.

Lessons designed to your needs

We can offer bespoke learning on an individual or group basis (maximum six people). Whether you need written or oral work, reading or listening comprehension it does not matter. We will design a course to meet all your needs. Whether you are a student or business person we can guarantee a course adapted to your individual requirements.

English Language Residential Courses

Do you have a child who is too young to cross the Channel alone or who is nervous about travelling abroad?

Perhaps he/she doesn’t want to leave home for too long for a language course?

We can offer two solutions !

Lessons via SKYPE.

Or

we can offer a weekend ‘en famille’ but here in France. We will welcome your child as if he/she was at home. Games and conversation during their stay will all be completely in English. We can arrange sight-seeing trips or more formal lessons if you wish, all within a family friendly environment. Alternatively just a single day ‘chez nous’ can also be arranged if a weekend seems too long to begin with. Or, book one of our gîtes for a family holiday and we can arrange English lessons during your stay.

Children may come alone or in pairs. (Vanessa was CRB* checked in connection with her work and as a Guide leader. Tim was also CRB* checked when he was a hockey coach).

(* CRB = Criminal Record Bureau now called DBS checks).
